The second worldwide conference to “nurturing global Philanthropy for Africa`s sustainable development is taking place on the 21-23 October 2016 in IBIS HOTEL Linz/Austria. The Conference objectives are to nurture and enhance a culture of Global/African Philanthropy giving and resource mobilization through effective grant making, advocacy, and networking. Participants and collaborators are drawn from Community Foundations, Family Trusts/Foundation, Individual Foundations/Trusts, Corporate Foundation, Researchers, Institutions, Investors, Universities, Scholars, Policymakers and others\’ types of Grant\’s making and non-grant making organizations worldwide.

The conference topic is

“Paving the gateway into Philanthropy Leadership and Entrepreneuship for sustainable (African) society”

Our focus will be on Networking, Health and Childcare, Young people school to employment transition, Education policy, Migration-African-Refugees, Intercultural competence, and “Green”Job Creation in African Community

Additionally, there shall be exhibitions and showcase of african Entrepreneuers and startup, series of value-added workshops, and training (Inter cultural competence, Capacity building, Nonprofit finance and sustainability, drafting of concept & proposals, etc.) from more than 10 competence facilitators. However, the will also be exchange of best practices, presentation of research papers/projects, and building of bridges with sysnergy. Call for papers/projects that shows evidence and findings from global africa continent are currently submitted.

Moreover, following themes will be discussed during the conference, presentation, and working groups:
Gender & Sustainability, Women and Children, Healthcare, Hygiene & Sustainability, Youth & Leadership, Environment & Sustainability, Diaspora, Remittances & Sustainable Economy, Labour market, employment and “green” Jobs creation, Startsup, Entrepreneuship & Sustainability, Culture, Arts and Sustainability, Global/African Migration, Integration & Diaspora, Education & Sustainability, Finance & sustainability. Human Rights and African Refugees, Peacekeeping, Conflicts and sustainability, Political Institutions, Good governance & Sustainability, etc.

1st. Global/African Philanthropy Research Conference – 09/04/2016

The first Global/Africa Philanthropy Research Conference took place on the 09th of April 2016 in Ursulinensaal, OK Platz Linz – Austria. It was open by the initiator and Organizer Eddy Bruno.
The conference began from 09am up till 16pm. Moreover, the guest speaker was Dr. Christopher Fomuyong, a Philanthropist living in the USA.
The Topic of the conference is “Nurturing Global Philanthropy for Africa`s Sustainable Development”.
During the conference there were presentation of Papers and project about various socio-economic, political, and environmental policy fields with focus on (Sub-Saharan) Africa. Papers and projects were submitted from African scholars in Cameroon, Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, Germany, Austria, and USA. Additionally, the results of the conference show improvement of welfare and social policy fields in Africa.
It focused on mutual learning, networking, promote best practices, and enable synergies and collaboration. These aspects support to discuss, identify challenges and priorities for a number of important issues about the role of philanthropy in welfare and social policy arena in Africa as well as research. The Participants came worldwide from Africa, Asia, Europe and USA. They consist of Executives, Policy makers, post graduate students, scholars, foundations, trust, grant-givers, university, professors, entrepreneurs, start-ups, African communities, African Diaspora, (social) policy research. A handful of participants attended the one day conference.

Help for orphans

Here are the photos of 250 Orphans that we care for the this August – Septermber 2015 with social welfare and basic needs like cloths, school bags, pen , pencisl and other need. we visited their homes in cameroon and we are as well looking forward to support most of them again . We are planing from December 2015 to support more that 350 of Orphans. The children are between the age of 4 months till about 18 years old…..

Helping people in need

There are many people in need living in cameroon. After a meeting this september till August 2015 between the president and founder of Hiba Mr. Esien with some of the members of the group we dedicded to support them with sustainable materials. There are about 400 in number which we need to support from this year 2015 and we are greatfull of your collective support so we can futher support them with sustainable need. Most of the them are parents with children who are not only in need for themselves but for their childrens. Thanks for your support in advance.

2. Phase – Nursery School

2en Phase of Nursery school Project 2015.
We handed over some benches to the school on the 31 0f December 2014 as the second Phase of the Nursery School Project that have to occured from December 2014 up till December 2015. The 3rd Phase is already in planing where we are expecting the acceptance and signature of the Government Administrator permiting us to continued with the buildings of the structure. The construction and building of the structure shall shall begin during the first 1/4 of the year. The land have already been handed during the kickoff ceremony of the Nursery School Project at the temporary School premisses which was attended not only by Mr Eddy Bruno the founder , President of HIBA but a Group of Guest from Austgria as well as HIBA Crew in Cameroon. The president and founder of HIBa would be traveling again as soon as possible to cameroon in other to personally assist during the building of the structure.

1.st Youth Capacity Building Conference in Kumba, Cameroon
Organized and initiated by Bruno Eddy, HIBA Founder, President & Philanthropist on the 29.12.14 at Kumba II council where youths between 15 till 29 years old benefited from motivational trainings as well as workshops to empower them overcome youth unemployment, to acquired soft skills and improved their employeability to reduce underemployment and boost up thier strength as well as path from school to work. The coneference was also attended by guest from Austria, the delegate of youth in Kumba II council, Secretary General of Kumba II council, 1st Assistant SDO meme Division representing the SDO of Meme Division, the Mayor of Kumba II and many other administrators as wel as guest related to youth welfare and topics. More than 130 Youths from Kumba Cameroon attended and directly benefits from the workshop which also youth growth, improved their inter personal as well as societal development

Visit to a church orphanage in Kumba

The founder and president of HIBA Mr. Eddy Bruno with guest from Austria and Crew in Cameroon visiting Cleric Orphanage on the 31.12.2014 in Cameroon to support children with basic needs and social welfare. 25 children benefited from our support and welfare protections. We offer them with cloths, playing toys, didactic materals (pen, pencils, bags etc.) and some other stuff to reduce the rate of child poverty and inequality in the society

Visit to Emmauel Orphanage in Limbe

Visite to Emmauel Orphanage in Limbe.
Saturday the 27.12.2014 we visite Emmauel Orphanage in Limbe where we supported the childiren with social and welfare basic needs like cloths, didactic materials and some other stuff to support them reduce the rate of inequality as well as reduce child poverty. About 20 children benefits from our supports. We shall be back for more supports. Greetings to the children.

Youth work in Limbe

Saturday the 27.12.2014 we visited the youth center situated at the delegation of youth in Limbe where we supported the youths with basic welfare needs like cloths, schools bags and other didactic materials like pens to boost up their strength and increased their motivation as well as employeability. During this ceremony the PResident of HIBA Mr Eddy Bruno also gave a short motivational and youth capacity building speech which was benefited from more than 25 youths as a means to empower and Support them with mental tranings. It was amazing to share with you all. Thanks for your warmly welcome and short talent show.

Visit at the orphanage in Kumba

On the 26/12/2014 The founder and PResident of HIBA Mr Eddy Bruno from Austria with his Team visited Ma di Orphanage in Kumba , where we distributed not only didactic Materials (Pens, Books, school Bags, Rulers,etc) but also cloths and some other basic needs to reduce child poverty and provide vulnereable as well as marginalised children with basic needs, social welfare and security. During this measurement 55 Youths and Children benefited. Was fantastic to observe the children smiling and having fun despite the situations they are facing. Thanks to all those who supported me and my whole crew to undergoes this wonderfull gesture.
